1. multimedia classroom
Multimedia classrooms are the basic teaching environment for undergraduate teaching in our university. Multimedia teaching facilities can provide teachers and students with a good audio-visual environment, enrich teachers' teaching methods, and provide hardware guarantee for effectively improving teaching efficiency. The Information Technology Centre is responsible for the technical support of a total of 102 multimedia classrooms, distributed in the International Building and the main building, and completes 197,278 hours of classes in each academic year (the amount of completed hours guaranteed in the last two years is fluctuating up and down).
These multimedia teaching equipment were purchased and constructed in 2015 and 2016, with newer equipment and advanced functions. Multimedia classroom set demonstrative, image, aesthetic in one, and easy to operate, visual, layout colourful; medium and large multimedia classrooms are equipped with infrared wireless sound reinforcement system, so that the teacher can move lectures, get rid of being bound by the rostrum; multimedia classroom equipment are used in the virtual desktop technology, which can effectively prevent the multimedia teaching equipment from being infected by computer viruses and dissemination, so as to provide a more stable The use of information technology management platform can monitor the running status of multimedia teaching equipment, unified shutdown and other functions, improving the management level and efficiency.
The multimedia classrooms are managed by the Academic Affairs Office of the University, the Property Department is responsible for environmental hygiene, and the Information Technology Centre is responsible for technical support.
2.labs
The Language Laboratory and Simultaneous Interpretation Laboratory in the Information Technology Centre are important teaching places for students to conduct audio-visual and speaking training. The construction and updating of language laboratories in our university has a long history, starting from the homemade language laboratories developed in the late 1970s, through analogue technology, multimedia technology, to the current fully digital language laboratories, which are equipped with advanced equipment and fully functional. At present, there are 23 language laboratories and simultaneous interpretation laboratories in the Information Technology Centre, with a scheduling capacity of about 27,000 hours per academic year, providing a large number of basic services for front-line teaching in schools. The statistics of the labs and the lab managers are as follows:
